How to make beautiful decorative flowers from toilet paper rolls by hand
When you run out of toilet paper, don’t throw away the roll. It’s a good idea to use it to turn waste into treasure. For example, make it into a beautiful decorative flower and insert it into a glass vase. See the effect for yourself~~~
Material preparation: two toilet paper rolls (one flower); hot melt glue gun; scissors; buttons; a piece of paper. If you want to attach a stem to the flower, you will also need the following materials:28 gauge wire; wire cutters; paper bag
Material handling:
Cut the first toilet paper roll along the center line, cut the toilet paper roll into four equal width strips, and cut off 1/2 inch from each of the four strips.
Make petals:
Dot a small amount of hot melt glue in the middle of one large piece of paper, stack the other large piece of paper horizontally, and press down to stick it firmly.
Turn the remaining two small pieces of paper 90 degrees and install them according to the direction of the previous step, continue to glue the small pieces of paper, and glue the button to the center of the flower.
Make the calyx:
Measure, mark a 3-inch mark on a piece of paper, and cut out the shape as shown. If you want them to have some curl, wrap them around a pencil to shape them.
Make flower stems:
Find a piece of wire twice the length of the flower stem and peel it. Fold the wire in half and twist it a few times.
Bend the forked end to a 90-degree angle.
Glue the petals and leaves:
Turn your flower over and glue on a leaf. Turn the branched end of the stem downwards and bend it in the same direction as the cardboard.
Apply some hot glue to the curved section of the stem, turn the other leaf 90 degrees and glue it on top. You’ll want to hold it for a while until the hot glue cools and hardens so the stems don’t tip over.
