Turn scrap metal into treasure and DIY kingfishers, blue butterflies, magpies and other animals
There are many artists who use waste as a creative method, but few are as peaceful, tranquil and soothing as JK Brown’s works.
Brown lives in West Wales, which is famous for its wildlife habitat. Whenever Brown goes out for a walk, he never forgets to pick up discarded metal fragments, some of which are even illegally dumped and washed up on the seashore, and then patiently Pieces are pieced together into kingfishers, blue butterflies, magpies and other animals.
For Brown, since he can remember, he has loved observing these wild animals. Recording the forms of these animals through paintings or other creative methods is like the most precious gift that nature has given him, especially The habitats of these animals are gradually being polluted, but Brwon’s works seem to be able to temporarily reverse the process of human destruction, retain a clean world in everyone’s hearts, and give these animals a free living space.
